Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and He causes death; and He has power over all things. He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden, and He knows all things full well. (Al Quran 57:1-3)

The Quranic verses mentioned as epigraph are to tackle the charge, why God chose to be hidden. His attribute the Hidden, is meant to set up a test for humanity. If He was fully manifest, what test could there be and the design for accountability and Afterlife will collapse.

I am a theist and must confess have sometimes presented Pascal Wager, at least to my children. But, I like Steven Weinberg’s refutation of the Pascal Wager in the above video. He is the last interviewee in this video.

Alvin Platinger is a theist and he offers many useful refutations of atheism in the above video.

The question of evil is highlighted often in the above video and I have at least two articles linked below to refute.

Wasteful creation of the universe is brought about and my article about photosynthesis below is a refutation. Now, scientists are even discovering quantum tunneling in photosynthesis.
