Solopos.com, SEMARANG — Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) Central Java (Central Java) highlighted the attitude of religious and community leaders who contributed to rejecting congregational eventsAhmadiyyaIndonesia (JAI) which was originally held in Donohudan, Boyolali Regency. He believes that a religious figure should be able to act as a role model in responding to the activities of the Ahmadiyah congregation.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Central Java FKUB, Taslim Sahlan, Tuesday (31/10/2023). He said that religious leaders and elements of society should not behave in a disturbing manner.
“If there are religious figures and community figures who should be role models, but their response to Ahmadiyah is not based on facts, then it is definitely a hoax and slander. “Characters like this are actually disturbing and misleading,” said Taslim.
Taslim regrets that in the case of the Ahmadiyah event that occurred, religious figures in Central Java became a means of blocking. In fact, they need to be mature and open-minded when deciding on rules in the field of religion.
“Nurture a harmonious life with tabayun. Ideally, all religious leaders and community leaders should be able to act as glue. Not a divider. Must be mature and open-minded. “Differences in religious practice that are furu’iyyah in nature are inevitable,” he hoped.
Taslim, who represented FKUB, also offered a scenario on how to build religious harmony in the reality of differences, namely by prioritizing restoration of religious communities starting from complete religion, solidarity, synergy and integrity.
“If this is internalized in every religious community, then there will no longer be suspicion and hatred. “There is certainly brotherhood in the name of humanity,” he said.
Taslim emphasized that the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation is part of the Muslim community. Like the Nahdliyin among the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, LDII, Al-Quran Tafsir Council and Matlaul Anwar, Ahmadiyah is also an Islamic mass organization. Moreover, his shahada, prayers, fasting and zakat are exactly the same as other Muslims.
“Factually, Ahmadiyah is Islamic, like other Islamic organizations. So the pillars of Islam are the same as the others. “Even if there are differences, it is only in the realm of furu’iyyah-khilafiyyah ,” he explained.
As previously reported, the National Ijtima of the Indonesian Ansarullah Council, which was planned to be held on 17-19 November 2023 in Boyolali Regency, Central Java Province (Central Java), was canceled. Even though it was cancelled, his party appreciated the presence of the Central Java Regional Head of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) at JAI headquarters and was pleased that the ijtima activities were suspended.
“However, there are several elements of society who are not yet able to provide facilities, so we have to stay in touch a lot first. We have to open up a lot and explain what Ahmadiyya is. “We have been given time next year to be able to open up and explain to the public and religious figures that Ahmadiyah is part of Muslims,” explained the Chair of the Ijtima Committee of the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI), Dodi Setyawan.
