Unity one of necessities of Islamic world: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, leaders of Islamic World must work harder than ever to promote Islamic unity. It is also necessary for the issue of Unity to be one of the greatest concerns of the Islamic Ummah.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “Today, leaders of Islamic World must work harder than ever to promote Islamic unity. It is also necessary for the issue of Unity to be one of the greatest concerns of the Islamic Ummah.”

During his visit to Lebanon, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with Sheikh Maher Hammoud, Secretary-General of the World Union of Resistance Ulama on Sunday, on Sunday, October 17, 2021, in the city of Sidon.

In the meeting, while appreciating the support of the “International Union of Resistance Ulama” for the Resistance, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “We always follow and appreciate your outstanding activities in the path of resistance.”

“The West has been trying to transform Islam and integrate its concepts into this religion. If they succeeded, the religious revolution would not have taken place,” he continued, pointing out that Islam takes a stand against aggression, and has a justice-seeking position.

“But thank God, a religious revolution took place, and a new theory was presented. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) presented two issues to the world: First, Islam has a plan for state governing. Because many of the Islamic Ahkam (religious rules) are not possible and will not be implemented without an (Islamic) government. Second, in the age of modernity, an (Islamic) government can be established,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“We entered the international arena and proved to the West that a government based on Islam can be established. Compared to 40 years ago, the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the Resistance have become very widespread. The geography of Resistance has spread to most countries, and intellectually, the most important issues of Islam and Islamic concepts have been redefined. Today, Islam has developed quantitatively and qualitatively,” he said.

“Today, leaders of Islamic World must work harder than ever to promote Islamic unity. It is also necessary for the issue of Unity to be one of the greatest concerns of the Islamic Ummah. If Islamic countries were united in political and economic affairs, they would be a great power in the world. The enemy should not be allowed to hinder the unity of Muslims,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, emphasizing the need for unity among Muslim countries.

“The evil axis of Riyadh, Tel Aviv and Washington has dealt heavy blows and seditions to Islam,” he said, referring to the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam.

While inviting Sheikh Maher Hammoud to visit Iran, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly believes in the Proximity of Islamic denominations. I believe in Islamic Unity as Imam Khamenei believes, and the issue of unity is one of the necessities of the Islamic world.”

At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Maher Hammoud said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has not forgotten the issue of Palestine since the beginning of the Revolution, and it has been steadfast in this way and has not been weakened. Neither the economic sanctions, nor the conspiracies, nor any other issues have been able to stop Iran from supporting Palestine.”

“Resistance in other countries is a continuation of the Iranian resistance. Great martyrs such as Emad Mughniyeh, Ragheb Harb, Qassem Soleimani, etc. have been martyred in the way of Resistance,” he also stated.

  1. Unity is Strength

Unity is strength! The fundamental message of Islam is the Unity of God and the establishment of the unity of mankind bound together by ties of practical brotherhood. This is the clarion call of Islam which abhors strife, hatred, greed, selfishness, pride, intolerance and such like unbrotherly dispositions. The aim of every Muslim should be in accordance with the injunction of the Holy Quran:

Help one another in righteousness and piety.

The Holy Prophet of Islam has likened the true spirit of Islamic brotherhood to that of a building every part of which reinforces other parts and, as an undivided symbol of unity, commanded Muslims when lined up for prayer to stand together shoulder to shoulder like a solid wall leaving no space for even a rod to be passed between them.

Islam is a universal religion revealed by God for the guidance of all mankind and is above personal bias, tribal prejudice and ignorant sectarianism. It teaches that all human beings are equal and nobody is superior to another due to origin, colour, genealogy or race. The only difference in the sight of God between individuals is their degree of righteousness. As God says in the Holy Quran:

Verily the most honourable person among you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous among you. (49:14)

This ideal of Islamic unity and brotherhood which is sadly lacking in the world today can only be achieved by devoutedly acting upon the injunctions of Islam. Muslims should act upon and call people to what is good, and avoid and forbid what is bad. The strong and more fortunate should help the weak and less fortunate. The rich should help the poor. No one should usurp the property and rights of others. Religious tolerance is essential.

The Ahmadiyya Community in Islam has been dedicated to the revival of Islam for over one hundred years since its inception in 1889 by its Holy Founder, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad–the Promised Messiah and Mahdi. Its growth has spread all over the world and the Community continues to spread its heavenly influence in rejuvenating the pristine purity of Islam in the hearts of people of all nations and creating among them a bond of divine unity.

  2. But, who’s listening? They all want UNITY under their own version of Islam and have closed their ears, eyes and brains to what the Promised Messiah has been telling them for over a century, now.

They are labelling all of his followers as kafirs, heretics, etc., and don’t even bother reading his books with an open and fair mind before jumping to and listening to their moronic mullahs….

What a sorry state of affairs the Muslims are going through by following their ‘favourite’ mullah who has his own selfish and personal agenda!
