Having grown up amidst Hindus, celebrating Diwali, visiting local temples, and studying Hindi (as apposed to Urdu), I obtained a fair understanding of the Hindu faith to be able to show due respect to them.
For over 15 years now I have been chair of the INTERFAITH AMERICA, foremost in San Francisco Bay Area, it has been most challenging for me to get Hindu panelists to speak at our forum, while other faith traditions have been extremely open in participating at our forum.
Unlike other interfaith groups, INTERFAITH AMERICA prefers to feature speakers followed by interactive question and answer sessions for full benefit of all participants where representatives display and share the beauties of their faith traditions.
A question that has intrigued my mind is why three major faiths Judaism, Christianity, and Islam share the same origin all the to Adam and Even and all Abrahamic traditions and Biblical Prophets and the Hindu Faith is silent and distant from all of them?
The onus to provide the answer is on the believers of the Hindu faith from its own spiritual scriptures in a clear and convincing manner.
The slide below gives a snapshot. Anyone interested in the faith can post the response here.
