REYHANLI, Turkey — The baby wasn’t moving. Her body had gone hot, then cold. Her father rushed her to a hospital, going on foot when he could not find a car, but it was too late.
At 18 months, Iman Leila had frozen to death.
In the half-finished concrete shell that had been home since they ran for their lives across northwest Syria, the Leila family had spent three weeks enduring nighttime temperatures that barely rose above 20.
“I dream about being warm,” Iman’s father, Ahmad Yassin Leila, said a few days later by phone. “I just want my children to feel warm. I don’t want to lose them to the cold. I don’t want anything except a house with windows that keeps out the cold and the wind.”
Syria’s uprising began in a flare of hope almost exactly nine years ago. Now, amid one of the worst humanitarian emergencies of the war, some of those who chanted for freedom and dignity in 2011 want only to ward off the winter cold.
Already the effective winner of Syria’s civil war, President Bashar al-Assad is closer than ever to retaking Syria’s last rebel-held territory, Idlib Province in northwest Syria, a milestone that will clinch his victory even as it deepens his people’s suffering. Over the past three months, his forces, backed by Russian airstrikes, have intensified their assault on the province, driving nearly a million residents toward the border with Turkey.

Amaziong how one-sided practically all media reports on wars are. To fight a war it needs more than one side. In Syria many sides. Practically all are at fault and not only one side. Why always blame only one side?
When you see the surface of conflict, you see all are fault, but you should understand that what is the cause or root of the problem— you can see only one side create the problem, namely those who do wrongdoer or evil heart.
Honestly, why couldn’t the world be just like the movies for once?
One psycho leader sends his troops, the other psycho leader send their rebels meanwhile the troops and rebels team up to remove the psycho leaders who keep pushing them towards conflict instead of desperately needed peace.
There is no more war if all the fighters just stop fighting regardless of who is in charge.
We often hear that there is some groups of Muslim who wants to die for their religion or for God and when he dies he will reward by God HEAVEN AND 72 VIRGINS GIRLS.
This is the kind temptation make some Muslim want to die.
They can follow temptations all they like, there are still no virgins after death.

Sheikh Palazzi states that there are 72 wives for every believer who is admitted to Paradise, not only for a martyr. Ibn Kathir in his Tafsir of Surah Al-Rahman (55), verse 72, quotes “the Prophet Muhammad saying: ‘The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby.”
