Ahmadiyya Muslim Community calls to prayer as Coronavirus cases rise above 70,000

World Health Organization: As on Monday, the 24th of February: Deaths due to Coronavirus (officially known as COVID-19) has climbed to 2,595 with 77,262 confirmed cases worldwide.

So we, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan, express our support and we pray for all and especially for those in Wuhan, during this challenging time, because of the ever growing public health crisis presented by the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan held a prayer service to seek the Mercy of Allah, the Almighty to get salvation from this deadly disease at 2 p.m. on 16 February 2020 Sunday & at 12:30 p.m on 23 February 2020

The service, which was open to the public, was held at the Baitul Ahad Mosque, in Tsushima City.

President Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Japan Mr.Anees Ahmad Nadeem said:
“Let us stand united in prayer to get salvation from this deadly disease, and let us continue to seek Allah Almighty`s mercy and help in this difficult time by praying for our fellow human beings, and putting precautionary measure to save ourselves and our neighbours and loved ones”

He further stated:
`We Pray for the doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and all those who are passing through this difficult time that may God Almighty give them the wisdom and will to overcome the virus.` Aamin
