Our work is to spread the message and tell the world that Islam is the one true religion – Youth from Switzerland meet Hazrat Khalifatul Masih

21st February 2020
A group of Atfal and Khuddam from Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Switzerland had a sitting with Hazrat Khalifatul Masih, may Allah be his Helper, on 15 February.

Upon arrival, Huzooraa enquired about the total number of Atfal and Khuddam. Following this, the group had the opportunity to spend time with and ask Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa questions on different topics.

The first question was presented by a tifl who asked why Allah, in the Holy Quran, has ordered mankind to do certain things and refrain from certain things. In response, Huzooraa said that God has revealed the Holy Quran and told us what is permissible and what things we should refrain from and by following these teachings, we can attain God’s pleasure.

One young boy then asked what prayer should be recited upon viewing the Ka‘bah for the first time. Huzooraa said that it is mentioned in narrations that the prayer made at the first viewing of the Holy Ka‘bah is accepted. Huzooraa added, “The first Khalifa of the Promised Messiahas on one occasion mentioned that upon viewing the Ka‘bah, he prayed to God for all of his prayers to always be accepted. Thus, this is a matter of the heart; there is no condition of which prayer should be recited. What you feel in your heart at the time, you may ask for.”

A young tifl asked which prayer he should recite to ensure he is successful in life. Huzooraa replied, “First you should make an effort, then pray to God that may He bring your hard work and effort to fruition.”

A question was asked by another boy with regard to the hadith about the latter days, in which the Holy Prophetsa said that even if faith were to reach the Pleiades, then a man from among the Ahl-e-Faris (of Persian decent) would bring it back. The young boy asked if there is anyone living at the Pleiades. Responding to the question, Huzooraa said, “The Holy Prophetsa only gave an example. What is meant by this is that people would move far from religion and it would seem that faith, in the world, would no longer exist. At such a time, a person from Persian decent would bring faith back and he would be the Promised Messiah, who would restore the true teachings of Islam.”

A khadim asked regarding a campaign for the legalisation of gay marriages. He wanted to know whether, as a Jamaat, we should actively speak against it. Huzooraa said that if we are asked for our opinion on this matter then we should say that we are to follow our religion and it is our belief that God has sent prophets to guide mankind. Even the Bible has mentioned, with more detail than the Quran, the people of Prophet Lotas and says that their deeds and doings were wrong, likewise this is mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Huzooraa further said that Putin, the President of Russia, ruled out legalising gay marriage and said that there would only be “mum and dad”. Thus, Huzooraa said that there are many in the world who speak out against it.

One khadim asked Huzooraa about his memories of Jalsas in Rabwah. Responding to this, Huzooraa said, “Many things would happen during the Jalsas, however, I remember that I would give duties at the langar from morning to night time with my father from a very young age.”

One khadim asked how we can convert people and spread Ahmadiyyat all over Switzerland. Answering the question. Huzooraa said, “Our work is to spread the message and tell them that Islam is the one true religion and path towards God.” Huzooraa added, “To guide is in God’s hands.”

A young tifl asked Huzooraa how he did waqf and if he sought any advice from his parents before doing so. Huzooraa said, “When I did waqf, I was studying, and I made a promise with God that if I achieve good numbers in my exams then I would do waqf. Then I wrote to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIIrh and then, afterwards, I told my parents that I had submitted my request for waqf.”

A khadim asked what our duties would be if a world war broke out. Huzooraa said, “Our duties will be the same as they are today. We should pray that may Allah guide the world and save it from falling into chaos.” If the war is to happen, Huzooraa said, “We should pray that the destruction is minimal and that aft er the war, people turn towards God.”

The mulaqat concluded with a chance for a group photo with Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa.
