Ramadan is a time when millions of pilgrims from all over the world descend upon the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. One of Makkah’s recent visitors included Brazil Footballer Sérgio Ricardo.

Sérgio has a long history with the country as he played for Saudi football clubs like Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad throughout the late 90s and early 2000s.

Earlier, this month former Saudi footballer Mohammad Suwaid posted a video on his Twitter account that Sérgio converted to Islam.

Here’s a video of Sérgio in Masjid Al Haram in Makkah just a few days after his conversion.
