Ahmidiyya Muslim community opens mosque to visitors
The Lloydminster Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is open their doors to spread awareness about Islam. The Bait-Ul Amaan will be open to the public and feature an exhibit about the Muslim faith.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., residents will be able to visit the mosque and learn about the ways Muslims worship and what they believe. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community will be present to answer questions about their faith. Imam for the mosque, Mansoor Azeem, says the goal is to prevent islamophobia by bringing people to meet their Muslim neighbours.
“We think maybe it’s because people do not know about the peaceful teaching of Islam. They only come to know about the radical Islamic beliefs from ISIS or other non-practicing Islamic communities. Islam is a very peaceful religion, and we want people to know that it’s not Islam that’s causing hatred,” says Azeem.
Following the recent terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, the local Muslim community says they’ve received a lot of support. Lloydminster residents have given their condolences after a white supremacist killed 50 Muslims during Friday prayers. Azeem hopes this will help prevent extremist beliefs.

Quran commands, “Do not divide into sects.” Period. all those divided into several sects like Sunni, Shia, Dev Bandi, Barilvee. Ahle Hadees, Ahmedi etc are disobeying Quran and Quran has thrown such people out of Islam fold. None of them are Muslim.
oho. not many Muslims left then.
