Amman, April 24 (Petra)– His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday received Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Zubair Mahmud Hayat and an accompanying delegation to discuss prospects of military cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting, held at the Husainiyah Palace and attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, touched on regional and international efforts to counter terrorism within a holistic strategy.
The meeting was attended by Advisor to His Majesty and Director of the King’s Office and the Pakistani Ambassador.
