Some of the festive cheer was missing last weekend at a public Christmas tree lighting near the site where Christians believe an angel proclaimed Christ’s birth to local shepherds.

  1. I am always amazed how little care ‘Western Christians’ have for the views of ‘Eastern Christians’. From the time of the crusades up to now.

    • If a Palestinian would give a small finger to an Israeli he would not only take the whole arm but more than that. I feel confident that if there was equality in ‘Greater Israel’ (one state) a solution to the Temple Mount / Al Aqsa Mosque compound could be found. However, as it is the Israelis just continue to ‘take over’ (steal) Palestinian properties whereever they can. Under these circumstances it cannot be expected from the Palestinians to give up anything voluntarily.
