Noble Companions and Lessons for this Era

Peace and mercy of Allah be on you. …. Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said about the station of Noble Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) : “Noble Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) are bright proofs of sirat (mode of life) of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). If any person wastes these proofs, he, as if wants to waste Prophethood of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). So only that person can really respect Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) who respects Noble Sahabah. The one who does not respect Noble Sahabah, he absolutely does not respect Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). He is wrong in this claim if says I love Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) because it can never happen that there is love with Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and then there is animosity with Sahabah. That pure Jama’at was of Noble Sahabah, which never got separated from their Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), and would not have fear from giving-away life in his path, rather did not fear. They were so much lost in obedience of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) that they were ever ready to bear every pain and trouble for it.”

So it is that station of Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) which, each Ahmadi should keep before them. When we read about sirat of Sahabah and gain knowledge of their practical models, their important station become distinctively visible. This station should draw our attention that their sirat, model, work, obedience and levels of worship are models for us and we should make effort to make them part of our lives.
Some events of certain Sahabah.

Hazrat Abu Dujana Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) : He accepted Islam before migration of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) to Madinah. He has the honor to take part in battle of Badr and showed talents of bravery….. He also participated in battle of Ohad; Muslims were winning but when they left a place open, infidels re-attacked and situation turned. At that time, Hazrat Abu Dujana ra was among the Sahabah who were left near Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and was severely hurt but did not back off.
A tradition tells that, at a time when Holy Prophet sa raised his sword and said who would pay its right, Hazrat Abu Dujana ra offered he would do so and requested, how its right could be paid. Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said that it should not be used to spill blood of any muslim and no foe-infidel should get away from it. (i.e. it should be used only and only for that foe who wages war against Islam). After receiving that sword, Abu Dujana ra came to battle field with pride and stiffness. Holy Prophet sa said that Allah the Exalted does not like such proud expression in normal circumstances, but today this act of proud walking is very much liked by Allah the Exalted.
Hazrat Abu Dujana ra was martyred in battle of Yamama, warring against Musailma the Liar. Musailma had hidden in a fort. Hazrat Abu Dujana made a strategy and asked his companions to throw him in fort from the wall, it was very high boundary. With such fall, his leg was broken, fighting bravely he managed to open the gate of fort from inside, and Muslims entered inside. This was his amazing expression of courage heroism and he was martyred in this struggle.
Once, while sick, he said to his companion perhaps Allah the Exalted will accept his two deeds; one, I do not speak any nonsense thing (backbiting), and secondly there is no malice and rancor in my heart for any Muslim.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslama (may Allah be pleased with him) : He was among early Ansari Muslims. He was very brave and fearless person. He remained steadfast in battle of Ohad with Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him)…. He had a specialty that a prophesy of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was fulfilled about him. On one occasion, Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) granted him his sword and said: Till your war continues with mushrekeen (polytheists), keep doing war with this sword, and when such an era come that Muslims begin to fight with each other, then break this sword and sit in your house, till someone attack you or your death come.
He (may Allah be pleased with him) practiced upon this advice, as he practically broke that sword after the martyrdom of Hazrat Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). He ra made a wooden sword and hanged it in sword-cover. Someone asked, what was its benefit. He ra replied, the wisdom is to keep awe established and I have obeyed the instruction of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) that now not to keep iron sword, and wooden sword cannot harm anyone.
Some Sahabah (ra) used to say if anyone is not affected by fitna (subversion) (which began in Muslims after the martyrdom of Hazrat Usman ra), then he was Muhammad bin Maslama (ra)…..To avoid subversions, he began to live in wildernesses and would say, till subversions finish I plan to live in wildernesses.

So these were the people, who went to war, only because religion was being attacked – because Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said mushrekeen who are attacking to finish Deen, fight with them. As long as Muslims remained firm on this thing, their power remained such that they continued to dominate. But when — Muslims began to fight mutually and by falling prey to words of hypocrites, began to cut each other’s necks – then doubtlessly governments continued to function but unity was lost. And gradually governments too began to become weak. Today we see, differences of Muslims have reached to extreme.
And there was another prophesy of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), which has been fulfilled, that when after the dark age, when the era of light – the era of Promised Messiah will come, then accept Promised Messiah and get connected with Jama’at, as blessing is in this…..But we see, by not accepting the one who has already come, Muslims are becoming blood thirsty of each other in own countries. Its very result is that, today others i.e. non-muslim world is practically governing muslims.
There are events about Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslama (may Allah be pleased with him) being a person with very good judgment and obedient. For this reason, Khulafa (may Allah be pleased with them) had great trust in him, especially Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) gave him certain very important tasks and ventures. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to send him to do investigate the complaints about office-holders in other places and countries who were appointed to run the system.

==Peaceful Promised Reformation – Promised Messiah Day ==
Peace and mercy of Allah be on you… Twenty third March is observed as Promised Messiah Day in Jama’at Ahmadiyya. Local Jama’ats convene gatherings in this regard and history and background is remembered……The purpose and need of advent of Promised Messiah and his station will be presented here in his (on whom be peace) own words (a little ahead)……..After his claim, so called muslim scholars did maximum effort to incite general muslims against him and they are still doing so. But, with the support of Allah the Exalted, his Jama’at is making progress and good natured people continues to join Jama’at.

== Mentioning his coming is according to promises of God, and announcing I am the Promised Messiah – Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said :
“At real Touheed (Oneness of God) and purity, honor and rightness of Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), and at Book of Allah to be from Allah, attacks are done by the way of cruelty and lie. Then, should it not to be the demand of sense of honor of God to send that breaker of cross. (because, in that time, attacks on the person of Holy Prophet sa and on Islam were being done by Christians). Did God the Exalted forget His promise ‘inna nahno nazzalnazzikra wa inna lahu lahafezun’. Surely remember, promises of God are true. He has sent a warner according to His promise, world did not accept him but God the Exalted will surely accept him and will manifest his truth with very powerful attacks. I tell you very truly that I, according to promise of God the Exalted, have come as Promised Messiah. If you wish, accept – and if you wish, reject. But nothing will happen by rejection from you. The intention which God the Exalted have made, it will have to take place because God the Exalted has already said in Baraheen e Ahmadiyya* ‘sadaqallaho wa rasulohu wa kana wa-dam maf-oola’ .. saying of Allah and His Messenger became true and promise of God fulfilled.” ……….. “Examine this Movement at ‘minhaje nabuwat’ (clear way of Prophethood) and then see Truth is with whom. Nothing happens with imaginary principles and suggestions and nor I attest myself with imaginary words. I present my claim at standard of ‘minhaje nabuwat’ (clear way of Prophethood). Then what is the reason that its truth is not examined according to this very principle. Those who will listen to my words with open heart, I am sure they shall get benefit and will accept. But those who keep miserliness and malice in heart, my words will not be able to deliver them any benefit. Their example is like squint-eyed who sees one as two, no matter how many arguments are given to him that it is not two it is one only, he will not acknowledge… There was a squint-eyed servant, master asked him to bring mirror from indoor. He went and upon return said there are two mirrors inside, which one I should bring. Master said there is only one, not two. Squint-eyed said, so am I liar. Master said, ok, break the one. It was broken, then he realized actually it was his fault….. (Hazrat Promised Messiah a.s. says) But what answer should I give to theses squint-eyed ones who are opposing me. So we see, if these people repeatedly present anything, it is collection of ahadith, which they themselves are not considering more than level of zan (assumption)t. They do not know that a time will come when people will laugh at their ratbo yabis (mixture of good or bad, worthless) issues. It is the right of every seeker of truth that he should ask proof of our claim from us. For it, we present the same, which prophets presented. Nasus (explicit and decisive commands) of Quran and hadith and logical arguments i.e current needs which demand the coming reformer. Moreover, those signs which God showed at my hand; I have complied a chart, about 150 signs are given in it, whose witness are millions of human in a way. To present nonsense things, is not act of good nature-ness. That is why, Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) had said that he (Promised Messiah) would come as Hakm, accept his decision. The people, who have mischief in their heart, since they do not want to accept, that is why they keep presenting nonsense arguments and objection. But they should remember, eventually God the Exalted, according to His promises, will manifest my truth. I am sure, if I had fabricated lie, He would have killed me immediately. But all my affair is His Own affair and I have come from Himself. My denial is His denial, that is why He Himself will make manifest my truth.”

= Mentioning that result of denying Promised Messiah will take to denial of Allah the Exalted and Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.), Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) said:
“Denying me is not denying me but it is denying Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) because the one who denies me, he, before my denial, Allah forbid, declares Allah a liar.
While — he (i.e. the denier) sees internal and external discord have increased beyond limit, and God the Exalted, despite the promise ‘inna nahno nazzalnazzikra wa inna lahu lahafezun’ did not make any arrangement of their reform;
While — he believes in matter apparently, that God the Exalted promised in ayat-istikhlaf (verse about Khilafat Holy Quran ch 24, v 56) that He will establish succession of khulfa in Muhammad’s progression too like Musa’s progression;
But — He, Allah forbid, did not fulfill this promise and there is no Khalifah in this ummat at this time. (Promised Messiah talks about the past time when he came).
Not only upto this, but it is to be denied also that, as in Quran Sharif Allah the Exalted has declared Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) as like-Musa, it is not true too, Allah-forbid. Because it was essential for complete and strict similarity of this progression that, on this 14 th century a Messiah should have been born in this ummat, as like a Messiah came in Musa’s progression in 14 th century.
And likewise this verse of Quran Sharif will have to be denied ‘akharina minkum lamma yalhaqo behim’ which gives news about an incoming Ahmadi baruz (manifestation).
And likewise there are many verses of Quran Sharif, whose denial will become essential, rather I claim all Quran, from ‘al-hamd’ to ‘wannas’, will have to be left. Think again. Is my denial an easy matter? I do not say this, from myself. I say swearing to God the Exalted that this is the truth that one who will leave me and will deny me, even if he does not say with tongue, but he denied all Quran and left God. To this, there is indication in a revelation of mine, ‘anta mini wa ana minka’. No doubt, with my denial, denial of God is essential and by accepting me, belief in God the Exalted takes place and strong Eman (belief) is developed in His Being. And moreover, denying me is not my denial, this is denial of Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). Now, before anyone dare to my denial and refutation, reflect in his heart and seek verdict from it that whose denial he is doing.”

==Explaining more that what is reason that, by denying Promised Messiah, denial of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) takes place… Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) said :
“Why denying of Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) takes place (by denying Promised Messiah). That is so, since he (s.a.w.) had promised that Mujaddid (reformer) will come at the start of each century, that became untrue, Allah forbid.
Moreover, he (s.a.w.) had said ‘imammokum minkum’ that too became wrong, Allah forbid. And he (s.a.w.) had given glad tiding of coming of a Messiah and Mahdi at time of evil of cross, it too became wrong, Allah forbid, because evil came in existence but the imam-to-come did not come.
When one will admit these matters, will he not become deniar of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) or not?
So I explain again, denying me is not an easy matter, before calling me kafir / infidel, one has to become infidel first. It will be late to call me religion-less and astray but first one will have to admit his own astray-ness and disgrace. To call me deserter of Quran and hadih, first one have to leave Quran and hadih. And yet he will leave (i.e. not me). I am verifier and proof Quran and hadith. I am not astray but I am Mahdi. I am not kafir but I am true proof of ‘anaa awwalul momenin’. And whatever I say, God manifested at me that it is true. Who is sure about God, who accepts Quran and Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) are true, this very argument is enough for him that he should become silent after hearing from my mouth. But the one who is bold and fearless, what is his cure, God Himself will make him understand. (Hazrat Promised Messiah a . s . was teaching all these things to a guest, he said) Do not be haste in my matter, but think with good intention and impartial mind. “

Miracle of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.), and Role Models == Peace and mercy of Allah be on you… Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him)’s one Sahabi (among others) was Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). He was son of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr-bin-Haram. The later is that Sahabi, about whom Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said after his martyrdom that Allah the Exalted asked him: What is your desire to be fulfilled. He (ra) said, O Allah it is my desire I should be sent back to world with a re-life and I again become martyr in Your path……..Since it is against Way of Allah the Exalted so He said those who are dead are not returned to world again……In short, it shows his level of sacrifice and Allah’s care about him.
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (ra) was son of this Sahabi (ra) of great status. While child, he (son) did Bai’at at the occasion of the Bai’at al-Aqabah sania.
Son was asked by Hazrat Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Haram to pay his loan after his martyrdom which he owed to a Jew, by selling the fruits from the orchard. Son did so as instructed.
In that time, it was tradition to get loan against crops and orchards. Hazrat Jabbar (ra) too would get loan to meet expenses. He borrowed some money from a Jew against his orchard. But fruit was less and he was not given extra time.
There was danger to lose orchard to loan-giver…. (some tradition say matter was about father of Jabbar, ra)
When Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) knew about the matter, he (s.a.w.) recommended loan-giver to give some more time but he did not give so.
(some tradition say matter was about father of Jabbar, ra but from Bukhari matter seemed of later time.)
How Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) showed mercy to his Sahabi and miracle of prayer took place…..
After seeing the attitude of loan-giver, Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) made a round of orchard. Then talked to loan-given but he denied again. Meanwhile Jabbar ra took some palm-dates from orchard and presented to Holy Prophet (s.a.w.)…After that he (s.a.w.) took some sleep on dried-leaf- mat in orchard-hut. When he (s.a.w.) woke up, Jabbar presented him some more palm dates. He (s.a.w.) stood and talked to loan-giver again but he did not agreed.
Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) again made a round of orchard and asked Jabber to harvest the dates and pay off the loan. While fruit was being harvested he (s.a.w.) stayed in trees of date-plams…… Loan was fully paid after harvest and still some palm dates were left.
Hazrat Jabbar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave glad news to Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). He (s.a.w.) said: I bear witness that I am Messenger of Allah.

Spain is among in Western counties but economically it is counted in lesser firm countries of Europe. Job opportunities, income and standard of life is lower as compared to other countries of Europe e.g. France, Germany, Holland or U.K. etc. Despite this, economic conditions of Spain are better for comers from Pakistan; many come for business and employment. As far as, Ahmadis they leave Pakistan for two reasons. The main reason is religious restrictions and lack of freedom for them and the second reason is betterment of economic conditions. Majority of asylum seekers apply for asylum and visa by saying that conditions for Ahmadis are not good in Pakistan; to freely call themselves Muslims or offer worships or do religious customs, according to their faith. Somewhere mischief and discord is in the name of Deen (religion). At other places, discord is to prove worldly power and superiority. Here and there, conflict is due to competition between poverty and richness. Somewhere quarrel is desire of political parties to get governmental authority. In some places, domestic feuds and discords are over insignificant issues. Somewhere fights and feuds, mischief and discord are due to not paying mutual rights. At places attempt is to make clash to prove racial supremacy. Winning hearts with love and affection – Three Qualities to bring revolution in personal life and society – Conveying Message in Spain – Way to increase age
Peace and mercy of Allah be you… Translation of [ch41:v34] And who is better in speech than he who invites (people) to Allah and does good works and says, ‘I am surely of those who fully submit?’
This verse is a perfect example of and contains all distinctive qualities of a momin (true believer). Who can do these things more than a real muslim. If anyone possesses these three qualities which are told by Allah the Exalted, he can bring revolution in his life and society as well. These qualities are:
–to invite towards Allah
–to do amle-saleh (good deeds)
–to announce, by showing model of obedience, that I practice or do effort to practice according to my capacity, all commandments by Allah the Exalted and His Messenger.

Peace and mercy of Allah be on you…. Few days ago a respected elderly scholar of Jama’at, respected Usman Chinese sahib passed away. ‘inna lillahe wa inna elehey rajeoon’ (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return)…..In 1949, through a special destiny, Allah the Exalted enabled him to leave a remote area of China, go to Pakistan and accept Ahmadiyya Islam. He wrote memoirs how Allah the Exalted continued to treat, guide and enabled him to accept Ahmadiyya Islam, gain religious knowledge and devote his life to serve faith……He narrated faith-boasting events about his life to various people. People have written about him. There is enough material about his life events, services and character so that a book can be written. Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Pakistan can do this work well.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be his Helper) said he is stating about this Dervish human, life-devotee, missionary of Movement, practicing scholar, friend of Allah. This mention is role model for life-devotees and missionaries especially, and for everyone, for each Ahmadi.

He was famous by name ‘Usman Chini’ sahib. his real name was ‘Muhammad Usman Chung Sai Chou. He passed away on 13 April 2018. He was born on 13 December 1925 in a Muslim family in Chinese province Anhui. In 1946, after high school he did one year advanced course in Nanchang University, then began to study in Nanchang National Central University, department of politics. He was not interested in politics; he thought to learn law, philosophy or religion, he considered to go to Turkey to get education, but he came to Pakistan in 1949…..By making personal research he did Bai’at, began to study in Jamia Ahmadiyya (Ahmadiyya religious institution), …….

Companion Hazrat Hamza ra – Events – A Special Prayer ==
Peace and mercy of Allah be on you….Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said: “What was the state of civilization, morals and spirituality of Arab people at the advent of Hazrat Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). There was, battle in each house, drinking alcohol, fornication and looting; in short, each evil existed. No one had possessed any connection and relation with God the Exalted and with excellent morals. Everyone acted as Pharaoh. But, by coming of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), when they entered in Islam, then such love of Allah and spirit of unity was developed in them that everyone became ready to die in the way of God the Exalted. They manifested reality of Bai’at, and showed its model by their action. How much model of loyalty was shown by Sahabah of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), its example neither exited earlier not will be seen next. But if Allah the Exalted Wills He can do same. By these models, there is benefit for others. In this Jama’at (i.e. he a. s. says about his Jama’at) God the Exalted can create such models. How nice God the Exalted has said in praise of Sahabah, ‘minal momenina rejalun sadaqu maa ahadahulla alehey faminhum man qaza nahbahu wa min hum main yantazir..’ , there are such men in believers who proved this promise which they made with God the Exalted so some form them have given their lives, and some are ready to give lives…If verses are gathered from Holy Quran in praise of Sahabah, there is no better excellent model than it.” (i.e. better than this verse which is mentioned about Sahabah.)
