(Reuters) Muslim Americans fear their religion will be demonized and Islamophobia will spread after a young Muslim couple was accused of carrying out one of the bloodiest mass killings in the United States.
Across the country, Muslim Americans responded with shock and outrage after a shooting in which authorities said Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, stormed a holiday party attended by San Bernardino County employees in California on Wednesday, killing 14 people and wounding 21.
“I was at the gym yesterday while the shooting was taking place and all the TVs were showing that footage and all I could keep thinking to myself is ‘God, I hope they don’t have any Eastern descent, not just Middle Eastern, anything we’d associate with a Muslim’,” said Adam Hashem, 32, in Dearborn, a Detroit suburb with one of the country’s largest Muslim populations.
“We’re all worried. We’re all concerned,” he said.
It was the deadliest U.S. mass shooting since the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre three years ago. While the motivation remained unclear as authorities investigated the attack, details of Farook and Malik began to emerge. Farook was described as a second-generation American born in Illinois and raised by Pakistani parents. Malik was born in Pakistan and lived in Saudi Arabia until she was introduced to Farook.
San Bernardino police said they found pipe bombs and several thousands rounds of ammunition at the residence of the couple, who died in a shoot-out with police.
In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Attari Supermarket bustled on Thursday (Dec. 3) with customers shopping for Middle Eastern products.
“In every culture and in every religion there are bad apples that will spoil the rest of the apples. That has happened toward us,” said Dawod Dawod, a 25-year-old Muslim American, who manages the store that his family has owned for a decade.
Between taking orders over the phone, Dawod said he was concerned that politicians will use the mass shooting as a way to further demonize Muslims. He noted Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s endorsement of the idea of creating a Muslim database.
“It’s scary.” he said. “Ninety-nine percent of Muslims are hardworking, good people.”
Muslim community groups condemned the massacre and urged the public not to blame Islam or Muslims.
“The Muslim community stands shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Americans in repudiating any twisted mindset that would claim to justify such sickening acts of violence,” said Hussam Ayloush, an executive director at the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Within hours of the shooting, his group had organized a news conference with Los Angeles Muslim leaders and the brother of suspected shooter Malik to condemn the assault. The speed at which they went on live television underlined the depth of concerns in a community already buffeted by a rise in anti-Muslim rhetoric this year and increased public scrutiny after the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris that killed 130 people and were claimed by Islamic State militants.
Some Muslims say they have felt singled out during a presidential race that has tapped a vein of anger and bigotry — from comments by Trump to those by fellow Republican candidate Ben Carson, who said in September Muslims were unfit for the presidency of the United States. There are some 2.8 million Muslims in the country.

MUSLIM REALLY NEED A REFORMATION NOW.
The ancient Islamic shariah have to be reformed or corrected,otherwise the act of terror will never end in the name of Islam
We always claim that Islam is peaceful religion, and will bring mercy to whole mankind. we always condemn all kind of violence, but unfortunately often we see that extremist Muslim, who devote ancient syariah laws, kill innocent people in the name of Islam and shout “Alhuu Akbar” God is greatest.
Yes we agree also that Al Quran is the word of Allah and teach people to live; in peace, harmony, love, compassion, forgiveness, justice for all people regardless his race, nationality, religion, gender and Islam encourage people to live in wealth or prosperity.
I hope Muslim Scholars agree also that the book of Hadith is not the word of Allah, but the word of men. The book of hadith encourage young Muslim to hate toward infidel, to kill apostate, blasphemy, gay and lesbian etc
.
As long as Muslim Scholars do not address the book of Hadith which is create violence, killing innocent people, this violence will continue forever.
Most Muslim scholars around the world believe that the book of Hadith is the second resource of Islamic teaching beside Holy Quran.
We know now that those who kill innocent people is influenced or inspired by the book of hadith NOT by Al Quran.
The Qur’an clearly says: “To take an innocent life for no just cause is like killing the whole of humanity, and who ever saves a live, it is like saving the whole of humanity”.
I strongly urge all imams, or all Muslim scholars to admit and to declare that the book of Hadith has been contaminated with the violent Hadith or false Hadith. and then all violent Hadith have to be abolished from the book of Hadiith.The book of Hadith is the ROOT of violence in Islam.

I strongly disagree if Muslim Scholars say that Extremist Muslim like Isis, Al Qaida and Taliban are not Islam.
Actually FROM MY VIEW, they are devoting the ancient Islamic Shariah such as;They implement the law of Allah (Al quran ) the system Caliphat QS 2;30, Slavery QS,23;4-6, Women have to cover whole her body with cloth. QS.33:59.,A wife do not have a right to reject if her husband want to have sex QS.4:34, be crucified, or their hands and legs be cut off from different sides,QS 5:33,who commits theft, cut off the hands of both QS 5;38,The fornicating woman and the fornicating man, flog each one of them with one hundred stripes.QS 24;2-3.
The Islamic teaching from the book of Hadith; kill apostate, Blasphemy, Gay-Lesbian, and infidel.
The execution have to be front a group of believers as witness their punishment.
MUSLIM REALLY NEED A REFORMATION NOW.
Can we correct the book of Hadith? yes,we can, because the book of Hadith created by ancient imam, or men. Men can make mistake. Only Allah can not make mistake. Can we reforme the old interpretation of Islam
Allah says;
There is no one in this earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake.Ecc.7:20
Therefore, the book of Hadith have to be corrected or reformed. Otherwise killing innocent people can not be stopped forever. This is my belief.
Can we reform interpretation of Al Quran? Yes. Allah and Prophet allow Muslim reform the interpretation of Islam.
May Allah guide and give strength to all Muslim scholars around the world to reformed the book of Hadith as second resource of Islamic teaching. Amen

Ahmadiyah agree with the secular democratic system, instead of Caliphat QS 2;30.I agree too.
Does Ahmadiyah still want to implement / agree the execution of beheading, cut off hand, flogging at front of public?
Does Ahmadiah still want to implement syariah that women have to wear Burqa, Hijab, QS 33;59

Their practice is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They rejected the signs of their Lord. So, We destroyed them for their sins and drowned the people of Pharaoh; and all of them were wrongdoers. (54) Surely, the worst of all the moving creatures, in the sight of Allah, are those who reject Faith and do not believe (55) Those with whom you have entered into a treaty, then they break their treaty each time, and they do not fear Allah. 18 (56) So, if you find them IN WAR, deal with them in a way that those behind them have to disperse fearfully, so that they take a lesson. (57).
There is no even one verse of Allah in Al quran, where Allah order Muslim to kill people.–except in war.
Allah order Muslim; if you kill a person, as if you kill the whole mankind, if you save a life,as if you save whole humanity.—
Hopefully, this verse can convince you well that Al Quran teach people live in peace, harmony, tolerance, forgiveness, love,compassion, and prosperity.

To follow God, is to follow His Laws, commandment.
God created the human being and the world. God has the right to destroy the world and to punish His people–but God command his people ‘ do not kill innocent people ( except to defend ) and do not destroy the earth etc.
