Ahmadiyya Muslim Community always stands with those who love Peace

Three members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Comunity of Chicago: Shamshad Nasir (Imam of Glen Ellyn Mosque), Munawar Khan (General Secretary of NW) and Anas Ahad (Secretary PR of SW) met Hon. Consul General of France in Chicago Mr Vincent Floreani in his office at 205N. Michigan Ave, suite 3700 in Chicago on 24th Nov 2015.
On behalf of The Ahmadiyya Muslim Comunity Imam Nasir and the members of the delegate expressed their deep sorrow and condolences on the loss of more than 125 innocent lives in the great tragedy of France.
Extending support at these though times he said: We stand with all those who love and establish Peace in the world and quoted the Qur’anic verse “If you kill one person you killed whole Humanity” insisting the importance of life in islam.
On the inquiry of the Consul General the delegate answered his questions on Jihad, Terrorism and meaning of Muslim.
Imam Shamshad also briefly mentioned about the efforts The Ahmadiyya Muslim Comunity is doing to establish peace all over the world and also introduced him Head of their community His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad (The Fifth Khalifa of the Promised Messiah) and his speeches to the parliaments of different countries of the world and letters to The Heads of states on this subject.
The delegate presented the Councel General with flowers and the Book “Pathway to Peace” by His Holliness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad and a leaflet about “Jihad Or Terrorism”, from the Islamic perspective.
The Consul General Hon. Vincent Floreani thanked the delegate and appreciated the efforts of the Comunity in establishing the Peace and meeting him for the condolence
