The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be hosting its annual Peace Conference at the Fickling Convention Centre, Three Kings, Auckland on Saturday 07th November 2015 which will be represented by religious scholars, community leaders, members of parliament and invited guests representing various faiths and ethnicities across New Zealand.

The Conference theme “Peace, Loyalty and Tolerance through Religion” has been chosen specifically to reflect on the most significant problems of our time where world peace and security are at stake in the name of religion.

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mr. Mohammed Iqbal said, “The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide has an unwavering commitment to peace and the Peace Conference brings together communities by establishing a forum where true religious beliefs are shared, thus removing barriers and misconceptions about one another.”

The Spiritual Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph) His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad on 6 October 2015, during an historic address at the Netherlands National Parliament in the country’s capital city of Den Haag (The Hague) said, “I, and indeed all true Ahmadi Muslims, are not amongst those people who are creating or partaking in today’s disorder and unrest. Rather, we are the people who desire peace in the world. We are the people who seek to heal the world. We are the people who seek to unite mankind. We are the people who seek to transform all hatreds and enmities into love and affection. And most certainly, we are the people who make every possible effort towards establishing world peace.”
