Gian Singh Kotli made it clear that rituals are right in their own place but the real service to God lies in practically serving the people and to apply the tenets of religion to serve the people wherein God lives. To feed the hungry is to serve God. Gian Singh Kotli emphasized that the Lord Creator being Omniscient and Omnipresent knows very nicely what good or bad you are doing. Always keep in mind whatever you do is being watched by God. Referring to Sikh Scripture, Kotli said, “Most sublime are those who make truth their fasting, contentment their holy pilgrimage, compassion their deity and forgiveness their rosary,” It is imperative to know that according to Sikh faith our God Father is One known by different Names and we all are His children. Therefore we should treat ourselves as the loving members of one World Family of God and love all.
