Our global and national history has shown a dangerous human tendency to isolate and push away others we see as mysterious. This mystery and ignorance of “the other” has prompted humans to tragic intolerance. Harris Zafar discusses this history and how we can Demystify the Other in order to protect ourselves from repeating these mistakes.
A staunch advocate for universal human rights, he is the author of best selling book “Demystifying Islam”. He also teaches in two colleges and frequently appears on cable news networks.
