Tunis — Tunisia “strongly” condemns the incursion of the Israeli forces in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the ban imposed on prayers to enter the compound and the brutalization of several of them.
The systematic policy of aggression perpetrated by Israel against the sacred shrines of Islam in Al-Quds is a violation of international law and a blatant insult to millions of Muslims, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
It reiterates its rejection of all policies of colonisation that attack sacred symbols of Islam and Christianity in the Palestinian occupied territories by disfiguring their monuments as part of a policy of Judaisation of Al-Quds, in particular.
