(Fact is that the women “Radha” is never mentioned in the Mahabharat, Harivansh Purana, Vishnu Purana and not even in the Mad Bhagwat. Now if Radha was such an important character how could Maharishi Vedavyasforget to name her? And why did the later come religious scholars also didn’t care to quote Radha anywhere?)

Muslims of today reject the Prohpethood of Prophet Krishna (pbuh)!
While many recognize the differences between Islam and Hinduism, few may appreciate that according to Islamic principles & Prophet Muhammad (saw) ShreeKrishna (pbuh) was a true Prophet of God. Simply put, the original core teachings of Hinduism and Islam are the same — the unity of God and the obligation to serve mankind.
Allow me to explain please.
From among the six Articles of Faith in Islam the Fourth Article demands the belief in all of God’s prophets. This simple Article of Faith provides further credence to recognizing Shree Krishna as a prophet sent to the Indian subcontinent… still thinking, why? Read on, then…
Allah (the one God) created mankind and took it upon Himself to guide them, as He says in the Holy Qur’an: “Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance.” (92:13)
The Quran is clear that God’s Divine guidance is not exclusive to any one people. Rather, the Quran says: “And We did raise among every people a Messenger.” (16:37) Thus the Qur’an affirms the truth of all the previous Revelations.
Guidance and Law were given to every nation of the world through His Messengers and this is confirmed by Allah Himself as He says in the Qur’an:
“And for every people there was a Messenger.” (10:48)
“And there is a Guide for every people.” (13:8).
…there is no people to whom a Warner has not been sent. (Ch.35:V.25)
‘The messengers are sent because thy Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were unwarned.’ (Ch6:V132)
All messengers are prophets but statuses of few are different from others as is clear from the following verse of the Holy Quran,
… These Messengers have We exalted some of them above others; among them there are those to whom Allah spoke; and some of them He exalted in degrees of rank…’ (2:254).
Prophet Muhammad (saw) further declared that God has sent no less than 124,000 prophets to mankind throughout history (Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, 5, 169) of which only 28 are mentioned in the Holy Quran (while the Bible mentions about fifty). Segueing from the previous point, the Quran clearly declares, “And We sent some Messengers whom We have already mentioned to thee and some Messengers whom We have not mentioned to thee…” (4:165)
Worthy of mention is the point that None of those 28 mentioned in the Qur’an were sent to the Indian subcontinent.
Thus, it is perfectly possible and absolutely reasonable that Shree Krishna is one of the many prophets God sent with His Divine message to my land of Bharata, i.e. India… is it not?
So confirmly, Shree Krishna (as) comes into the second category of those prophets who are not mentioned in the Holy Qur’an.
And being the ‘Seal of Prophets’, Mohammad (saw) knew of the prophethood of Krishna (as). Proof is presented below:
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once declared, “There was a prophet of God in India who is dark in color and his name was Kinai (Kinhai / Kanhaiya).” (History of Hamadan Dailmi Chapter Al-Kaaf).
In fact, a renowned early 19th century Muslim scholar, Muhammad Qasim Nanotwi also was of the opinion that considering the evidence and this hadith, Shree Krishna was a true Prophet of God (Dharam Parchar Pg 8 & Debate Shah Jahan Pur Pg 31).
Islam’s Third Article of Faith is the Belief in God’s Books. This is why Muslims revere the Injeel (Gospels) and Torah (Old Testament). Thus, it is only logical that Muslims also revere the Gita and Vedas, Hinduism’s Holy Scriptures.
Earlier I mentioned that both Islam and Hinduism teach the unity of God and service of mankind — a message both Prophet Muhammad (sa) and Lord Krishna (as) taught. In fact, the Vedas state:
“There is only one God, worship Him” (Rig Veda, 6.45.16) and
“Do not worship any one beside Him” (Rig Veda 8.1.1) and also,
“God is only one, not a second” (Chandogya Upanishad Ch. 6.2.1).
Again, while admitting that theological differences exist between Islam and Hinduism, there’s no doubt that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Shree Krishna (pbuh) both taught God’s unity and service to mankind… countless verses in the Vedas teach the service of mankind.
For example:
“Oh Noble men! We do not commit violence. We do not hurt others. We do not quarrel either. We of course chant Vedas and act according to its dictates” (Rig Veda 10.134.7) and
“Every man should protect the other in all respects” (Atharva 6.64.1).
What’s more? Lord Krishna’s scriptures clearly prophesize Prophet Muhammad’s advent in multiple places. Leme provide just two:
1. Bhavisyath Purana 3:5-8 states, “A spiritual reformer will come from a foreign land (outside Bharat) with his disciples. His name will be Mahamad. He will dwell in a desert.”
2: “His [Mahamad’s] followers will perform circumcision. They will not keep their hair in the form of Choti as the Brahmans do. They will keep beard. They will bring about a revolution. They will call with a loud voice [i.e. Adhaan]. They will eat meat of animals other than that of swine. They will attain purity through Jihad. Their civilization will be called Muslay [Muslim].”
These verses speak volumes on their own… do we need to think more?
These verses further support the argument that the same God who sent Prophet Muhammad (saw) had sent Shree Krishna (as) too.
First I provided Prophet Muhammad (saw)’s hadith validating Lord Krishna, and next you’ve seen Lord Krishna’s Holy Scripture validating Prophet Muhammad (saw)’s advent. What further proof do we need that Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Shree Krishna (as) are brothers cut from the same mold?
God gives Prophet Muhammad the auspicious title of Khataman Nabiyeen or Seal of the Prophets (33:41). Prophet Muhammad is called not only the greatest prophet, but also the Validation of all prophets. Thus, it makes perfect sense why Prophet Muhammad specifically called Lord Krishna a Prophet — part of his purpose in coming was to declare to the world that God did not abandon any people. Rather, God sent His guidance and prophets to all people.
O Muslims, we must honor and revere all prophets, no matter what religion they bought or to whichever part of the planet they belong, because the same God, our Almighty Allah, sent each of them — Shree Krishna being no exception.
Worthy of Note is another point that Prophet Krishna (pbuh) never claimed to be God; neither did he ask others to worship him – these practices only came with passage of time… I’m sure if scriptures of Hinduism are rightly read it will be easily proved & accepted that they were all messengers of God in their time.
To conclude: Prophet Lord Krishna was a noble, righteous, beloved one of God. Far from theological division, he is a source of unity and accord between Hindus and Muslims.

An Introduction to Hinduism & Shree Krishna:
Hinduism: A History (Basics)
Hinduism is one of the oldest and the third largest religion of this planet, the first two spots being shared by Christianity & Islam. Hinduism is not based upon a particular single founder or a particular single book. As such there are many books & beliefs which are considered to be the foundations of Hinduism; scholars, however categorize them into two: One Shruthi & second Smriti.
Shruthi is believed to be the divine recordings & refers to the most basic foundational teachings of Hindu religion presumably recorded by the age old Sages – this is again found in two parts: Vedas & Upanishads.
Smriti is not judged as a very authentic source of information yet considered very important and so is followed rather very ritually by the Hindus of today. Religious practices in Hinduism refer to examples found in RamayaNa, Mahabharata and Gita which narrate stories of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna & many other such personages.
Now, let’s refers to the Concept of God from the Hindu Scriptures:
Chandogya Upanishad in Chapter 6: Section 2: Verse 1 says:
“Ekkam Evadvityam.” It is a Sanskrit quotation which means “He [GOD] is the One without a second.”
So like every other divine religion even Hindu scriptures believe in the ‘Concept of One God’.
[Wonder where from did the concept of multiple gods (actually 330 million) come into Hinduism then that we see today? Hmm. This matter needs more research… Later]
The oldest and most sacred amongst all the Vedas is the Rigveda.
It is mentioned in Rigveda Book No. 1, hymn No. 164 verse 46:
“Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti” meaning “Sages (learned Priests) call one God by many names [yet he is only ONE]”.
It is simple, isn’t it? Our God gets his many names in a method by which we explain his attributes, qualities and uniqueness… it would never mean that we have many Gods!
Hindu scriptures define God as, “Na Tasya Kascij Janita Na Janipadh” [6:9] meaning “He begets not, nor is He begotten” … In simple terms it means: Neither does God produce biological children nor is He a biological child. The omnipresent God is One and is free from all types of human weaknesses.
Next,
In Upanishad 4:19 it is said, “Na Tasya Pratima Asti” meaning ‘There is no likeness (image) of Him.”
And the very next verse confirms the inability of man to imagine God in a particular form, saying: “His form is not to be seen; none can see Him with the [Human] eye.” [Upanishad 4:20]
And again in Yajurveda Chapter 40: Verse 8 states that “He is bodiless and pure.”
Yajurveda Chapter 32: Verse 3 says, “Na tasya Pratima asti” which means “There is no image of Him.”

Prophet Krishna (pbuh)
Birth: Similar to that of Moses; had to escape the killing hands of the then king by being sailed off in waters.
Miracles: Similar to that of Jesus (as) & Mohammad (saw) but up to a lesser extent: All these 3 of them are believed to have shown miracles with food by increasing its value of sufficiency though the availability was less.
Prophet Krishna claimed to be the recipient of God’s word and his followers not only believe him to be a Messenger but also consider him to be God personified. It is indeed a fact that God conversed with him too; didn’t we read earlier that God converses with his favorites, the chosen ones?
Life of Prophet Krishna (pbuh):
As portrayed in his authentic biographies, Krishna (pbuh) is known to have been born on earth around 1458 BC, like any other human child, to Vasudeva and his wife Devaki and his name was Kinai (Kinhai / Kanhaiya). The name “Krishna” was given to him later, meaning “the enlightened one”.
He is known to have led an ordinary child’s life with an exceptional flare of supernatural abilities which is just an another attribute shared by many other prophets of God [Read miracles performed by prophets – a comparison, in later part of this message].
He lived like humans, behaved like humans and died like humans.
During his childhood, he occasionally took childish licenses like stealing butter, or at least that is what is claimed by the Hindu analysts. He grew up to a strong adulthood and acquired (and displayed) outstanding qualities of leadership.
In the battlefield he led great armies to epoch-making victories. In ordinary life, he rose to the exalted position of a great spiritual exemplar and performed his role as a reformer, the like of which had seldom been seen in Bharat [Present India / Hindustan].
Krishna is often described and portrayed as an infant or young boy playing a flute as in the Bhagavata Purana, or as a youthful prince giving direction and guidance as in the Bhagavad Gita. The stories of Krishna appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu philosophical and theological traditions. They portray him in various perspectives: a god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero and the Supreme Being. The principal scriptures discussing Krishna’s story are the Mahabharata, the Harivamsa, the Bhagavata Purana and the Vishnu Purana.
As is a job of every reformer sent, be him a prophet or a messenger, it was an assigned job to Krishna (as) to destroy evil and sometimes evil-minded people who wanted to wipe out religion and/or went against its teachings. He admonished people to become righteous and to eschew evil.
Shree Krishn Portrayed:
In his physical description, the image of Shree Krishna is portrayed as him having four or six arms instead of two and is also shown bearing wings. Most often he is portrayed standing with a flute pressed against his lips and some comely maidens (rather colorfully dressed) called gopis are shown to throng around him.
Gopi is a term applied to such womenfolk who tend cows. It is a term similar to that of a shepherdess. It should be remembered here that the title of Krishna himself was that of Go’pal which means “the tender of cows”. This, when read together with the Biblical accounts of Israelite prophets as shepherds tending the sheep of the house of Israel, makes the similarity between the two abundantly clear.
Let me explain it: India was a country of cows instead of sheep, and so the common people are referred to as cows. Hence for Krishna to be entitled a tender of cows, Gopal, is quite understandable. Likewise, reference to his disciples as gopis presents no mystery either.
To put in in one line: ‘Prophet Jesus was the shepherd of the sheep of Israel’, similarly ‘Prophet Krishna was the Gopal of the cows of India’.
Other episodes woven around the image of Krishna can also be read as parables and allegories rather than matter-of-fact statements. As regards the image of Krishna possessing extra arms, it can be symbolically interpreted to mean that highly ranked servants of God are gifted with extra faculties. And as far as wings are concerned, the Holy Quran too, mentions wings in relation to the Holy Prophet (saw) of Islam: He is enjoined by God to lower his wing of mercy over the believers.
But it often happens that religious allegories and parables are taken rather too literally by the followers of religions and thus their underlying significance is altogether missed. The image of Lord Krishna and stories woven about him, or for that matter about all the physical Gods in Hinduism, is no exception.
The Mystery of Flute: Krishna is also called Murli Dhar which means a flute player. The flute here is evidently a symbol of revelation because the tune that the flute emits is not emitted by the flute itself – It only transmits that which is being breathed into it. Hence, it was Krishna (as) himself who has been depicted as a flute played by God. Whatever tune God played into him He most faithfully transmitted to the world. Thus the reality of Krishna can be seen as no different from that of any other messenger of God who, as a faithful custodian of Divine messages, passes them on to the world unchanged.
The flute thus becomes a most expressive symbol of the integrity of prophets assuring the world that they say nothing from themselves, other than what has been revealed to them from the High.

Do you remember how Abraham (pbuh) had prayed for a great Prophet with eternal missions?
And we’ve read how Moses (pbuh) prophesized coming of a great prophet after him
And we’ve also seen how Jesus (pbuh) announced the coming of another great prophet after him.
Right… then how could Hinduism, just another divine religion, remain behind in foretelling the coming of this great Prophet? This great prophet was to become the Leader of All Prophets after all. Read further please:
Prophecies in the Vedas:
The Vedas of the Hindus contain numerous prophecies pertaining to the advent of a Holy Prophet. Athra Veda which is also known as Brahma Ved (i.e. Divine knowledge) contains the following prophecy:
O people! Listen to these words with reverence. A very praise-worthy person will appear among the people. He will accept him from among 60090 enemies. His means of transport would be 20 camels. His name will soar high and then return. This great Rishi will have 100 gold coins, 10 pearl necklaces, 300 horses and 10,000 cows. (Athra Ved Kantam 20-127, 70-1-3)
Prophecies in the Bhavishyath PuraN:
A spiritual reformer will come from a foreign land (outside Bharat) with his disciples (companions). His name will be Mahamad (Muhammad). He will dwell in a desert. (Bhavisyath Purana 3:5-8)
His followers will perform circumcision. They will not keep their hair in the form of Choti as the Brahmans do. They will keep beard. They will bring about a revolution. They will call with a loud voice (i.e., instead of using a bell to call the people for prayer, they will call people to prayer in a loud voice by ‘Azan’). They will eat meat of animals other than that of swine. They will attain purity through Jihad. Their civilization will be called Muslay (Muslim). (Bhavishyat Puran Vol. 3 verse:3)

Return of Lord Krishna (peace be upon him)
Hindus expect return of their Lord Krishna(as) at the time of the Kali Yuga / Kalyug (the age of darkness). They believe that when the world is all engulfed in darkness Krishna(as) will return in judgment in the form of a new avatar. According to their description of the Kali Yuga, they believe that we are currently at the age for his return, when the world is in an age of spiritual decadence. This is to be followed by a regenerated era. Krishna(as) himself declares the progressive line of Prophethood in the following text:
Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 verse 7-8 which says:
“Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya;
Glanir Bhavati Bharata;
Abhyutthanam Dharmasya;
Tadatmanam Srjamy Aham.”
Which means:
Whenever there is a decay of righteousness, O Bharata,
And a rise of unrighteousness, then I manifest Myself;
.. to protect of the good, and to destroy the wicked
and to establish righteousness, I manifest myself in every age. (Bhagavad Gita 4:7-8)
There is also a tradition of Kalki, the final Hindu avatar who would appear from the west mounted on a white horse. Kalki is also known as conqueror of dualities and of darkness. The texts describe the advent of Kalki:
When the practices taught by the Vedas and the institutes of law shall nearly have ceased, and the close of the kali age shall be nigh, a portion of that divine being who exists of his own spiritual nature in the character of Brahma, and who is the beginning and the end, and who comprehends all things, shall descend upon the earth… he will then re-establish righteousness upon earth; and the minds of those who live at the of the Kali age shall be awakened, and shall be as pellucid as crystal. The men who are thus changed by virtue of that peculiar time shall be as the seeds of human beings, and shall give birth to a race that shall follow the laws of the Krita age, the Age of Purity. (Vishnu Purana, 4.24)
Here, the verses first give an indication of the state of the world when the Kalki avatar would appear in terms of lawlessness and a lack of spirituality; it then talks of Kalki re-awakening the spiritual minds of people and signaling the dawn of a new spiritual (Krita) age.
The question is whether Kalki will come just for India and for the Hindus only or whether Kalki would have a more global message and scope? We’ll talk more about this later.

Coming back to concepts, let’s see what does the Holy Bhagwad Gita say about Idol-Worshiping:
The most popular amongst all the Hindu Scriptures is the Bhagwad Gita. Bhagwad Gita in Chapter 7: Verse 20 mentions:
“All those whose intelligence has been stolen by materialistic desires are worshipping demi-gods including idols” i.e. worshipping others as deities besides the True God.
And again [Yajurveda 40:9] states:
“Andhatama Pravishanti Ye Asambhuti Mupaste” meaning “They enter darkness those who worship the natural elements (Air, Water, Fire, etc.). They sink more deeper in darkness, those who worship sambhuti (self-made things such as idols, statues, and everything man-made.).”
So now people, my dear Hindus, you’ve seen how your own scriptures give no license to for idol worship!
Your scriptures actually say the exactly opposite thing: “Those who worship visible things born of the Prakriti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish and are going on the wrong path.”
The divine Hindu teachings reject the philosophy of idol-worship and prove that, “A God neither has a form, nor parents neither biological children nor a family as believed today.”
AND
“There is only one God, not the second, not at all, not at all, not in the least bit”.
Please understand my dears that God is only one, the unseen, the invisible – do not worship anybody but Him, the Divine One; Praise Him alone.

Let us have a comparison of religions, what say?
Allow me to explain you how a four-line definition of God found in the Holy books of Islam (the final religion for all earth), Hinduism (one of the oldest religion) and Christianity – A comparison will help us arrive at an agreeable point. Please do remember: All divine religions are from the One & Only God and so naturally the original unaltered messages will have to be similar.
Let’s compare Hinduism & Islamic concepts of God through their holy books:
Islam says, ‘He is Allah, the One;’ [The Holy Qur’an 112:2]
Hinduism says, “He is One only without a second.” [Upanishad 6:2:1]
How similar!
Hinduism says, “Almighty God is the supreme lord of all the worlds” [Bhagwad Gita 10:3]
Islam says, ‘Allah alone is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Most Supreme. [13:17]
Hinduism says, “Na Tasya Kascij Janita Na Janipadh” [6:9] and with the very same meaning
Islam says, “Lam Yalid wa Lam Yulad” both of which means ‘He begets not, nor is He begotten; [112:4] meaning “Neither did He biologically reproduce anybody nor was He reproduced by anybody.”
Hinduism says, ‘”Na Tasya Pratima Asti” meaning ‘There is no likeness of Him.” [Upanishad 4:19]
Islam says, ‘And there is none like unto Him.’ [112:5]
How wonderful!
Subhan’Allahi wa bihamdihi Subhan’Allahil Azeem (Holy is my Lord, the Most Great, the Most Great. God is the Greatest.)
Now people, that’s what we call ‘The touch-stone of theology’.
Oh, Wait a minute! Even Christianity or to be specific Bible says the very same:
One of the scribes came… and asked him, which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him , The first Of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel, the Lord, our God, is One Lord: and thou shall love the Lord, thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: This is the first commandment.. (Mark 12:29-30 & 32)
And yeah, I must add this: Though I do not remember to quote the ‘Ten Commandments’ given to Moses (pbuh) but we could guess they’d say the same, won’t they?
The teachings are so similar, then, why are there differences in them? Good question to consider, isn’t it?

Idolatrous doubts and clarifications (as quoted in Qur’an-e-Majeed):
The disbelievers often say,
[16:36] ‘If Allah [God] had so willed, we should not have worshipped anything beside Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor should we have forbidden anything without command from Him.’
So did those who were before them.
But are the Messengers responsible for anything except the plain delivery of the Message?
Simple answer, isn’t it? Well, a wise advice now:
[17:37] And follow not that of which thou hast no knowledge. Verily, the ear and the eye and the heart — all these shall be called to account.
[16:62] And if Allah were to punish men for their wrongdoing, He would not leave thereon a living creature, but He gives them respite till an appointed term; and when their term is come, they cannot remain behind a single hour, nor can they go ahead of it.
Clearly warned!

Now lets listen to what Qur’an, the book of Lord has to say about Idolaters:
ALLAH / ISLAM / QUR’AN on idol-worshippers:
‘Yet they have taken Gods beside Him [the One God]; Gods who create nothing but are themselves created!’ [Ch 25: V. 4]
My comment: How true! Hindu Idolized Gods & Goddesses are created from clay by sculptors, human sculptors.
…and who have no power to harm or benefit themselves, nor have they any power over death or life or Resurrection.’ (25:4)
…‘Verily you have taken for yourselves idols beside Allah, out of love for each other in the present life. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will deny each other, and curse each other. And your abode will be the Fire; and you will have no helpers.’ [29:26]
And the Qur’an-e-Kareem adds to it:
[37:70] They indeed found their fathers erring,
[37:71] And they hurried on in their footsteps.
[37:72] And most of the ancient peoples had erred before them,
[37:73] And We had sent Warners among them.
[37:74] Behold, then, how evil was the end of those who were warned,
So the fate of those who do wrong shall surely be like the fate, of their fellows of old; [51:60]
Woe to those who disbelieve [in Allah]. [51:61]
Hard upon the idolaters is that to which thou callest them. [42:14]

Let me remind you of the idolaters from the gone time of Abraham (pbuh)
‘And remember the time when Abraham said to his father, Azar, ‘Dost thou take idols for gods? Surely, I see thee and thy people in manifest error.’ (Ch6:V75)
[26:70] And recite unto them the story of Abraham.
[26:71] When he said to his father and his people, ‘What do you worship?’
[26:72] They said, ‘We worship idols, and we continue to be devoted to them.’
[26:73] He said, ‘Can they listen to you when you call on them?
[26:74] ‘Or do you good or harm you?’
[26:75] They said, ‘Nay, but we found our fathers doing likewise.’
And, the warning follows…
[26:92] And Hell shall be opened to those who have gone astray.
[26:93] And it will be said to them, ‘Where is that which you worshipped
[26:94] beside Allah? Can they help you or get help for themselves?’
[26:95] Then will they be thrown headlong therein, they and those who have gone astray,
[26:97] they will say, whilst they dispute between themselves therein:
[26:98] ‘By Allah, we were in manifest error,
[26:103] ‘Would that there were for us a return to the world, that we might be among the believers!’
[26:104] In this, verily, there is a Sign, but most of these would not believe.

And a resemblance:
The case of those who take helps beside Allah is like unto the case of the spider and her home; and surely the frailest of all homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.
Verily, Allah knows full whatever they worship beside Him; He is the AlMighty, the Most Wise.
We cite these examples for Mankind, and none appreciate them except the knowledgeable. (29:42-44)
[35:40] He it is Who made you successors in the earth of those who have passed away. So he who disbelieves, will himself suffer the consequences of his disbelief. Their disbelief will bring the disbelievers no increase in the sight of their Lord except His displeasure, and their disbelief will increase for the disbelievers in nothing but loss.
[35:41] Say, ‘Have you seen your associate-gods whom you call on beside Allah? Show me, then, what they have created of the earth. Or have they a share in the creation of the heavens? Or have We given them a Book so that they have an evidence therefrom?’ Nay, the wrongdoers promise one another nothing but delusion.
[35:6] O people, assuredly the promise of Allah is true, so let not present life deceive you, nor let the deceiver deceive you with respect to Allah
The Lesson:
[26:214] Call not, therefore, on any other God beside Allah, lest thou become one of those who are punished.
[28:68] But as for him who repents and believes and does righteous deeds, maybe he will be among the prosperous.
[29:18] ‘You only worship idols beside Allah, and you forge a lie. Those whom you worship beside Allah have no power to provide sustenance for you. Then seek sustenance from Allah, and worship Him, and be grateful to Him. Unto Him will you be brought back.
[29:19] ‘And if you reject, then generations before you also rejected. And the Messenger is only responsible for the clear conveying of the Message.
[33:74] The consequence is that ALLAH will punish hypocritical men and hypocritical women, and idolatrous men and idolatrous women; and ALLAH turns in Mercy to believing men and believing women; and ALLAH is Most forgiving Merciful.

And again…
[39:66] And verily it has been revealed to thee as unto those before thee: ‘If thou attribute partners to God, thy work shall surely go vain and thou shalt certainly be of the losers.’
[13:34] …Yet, they ascribe partners to Allah. Say, ‘Name them.’
Would you inform Him of what He does not know in the earth? Or, is it a mere empty saying? Nay, but the design of the disbelievers has been made to appear beautiful in their eyes, and they have been kept back from the right way. And he whom Allah lets go astray shall have no guide.
[16:58] And they ascribe daughters to Allah — Holy is He! …
[52:44] …Exalted is Allah above all that which they associate with Him!
[17:23] Set not up with Allah another God lest thou sit down disgraced and forsaken.
[17:39] The evil of all these is hateful in the sight of thy Lord.
[77:47] ‘Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while in this world, O rejecters of truth; surely you are the guilty ones.’
[21:99] ‘Surely, you and that which you worship beside Allah are the fuel of Hell. To it you will all come.’
[13:12] …Surely, Allah changes not the condition of a people until they change that which is in their hearts. And when Allah wishes to punish a people, there is no repelling it, nor have they any helper beside Him.
[11:102] And We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves;
and their gods on whom they called beside Allah were of no avail to them at all when the command of thy Lord came; and they added to them naught but perdition.
[11:103] Such is the grasp of thy Lord when He seizes the cities while they are doing wrong. Surely, His grasp is grievous and severe.
The Holy Quran Challenges the idolaters
‘Call on those whom you think to be gods beside Him; then you will know that they have no power to remove affliction from you nor to change your condition.’ (Ch.17: V.57)
[20:90] Could they not see that it returned to them no answer, and had no power to do them either harm or good?
[46:6] And who is more astray than those who, instead of Allah, pray unto such as will not answer them till the Day of Resurrection, and they are not even aware of their prayer?
[36:75] And they have taken other gods beside Allah, that they might be helped.
[36:76] But they are not able to help them, on the contrary they will be brought before God in a body to bear witness against them.
[16:34] What do they wait for except that the angels should come upon them or that the decree of thy Lord should come to pass? So did those who were before them. Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
[16:35] So the evil result of what they did befell them, and that which they used to mock at encompassed them.
O ye ignorant ones!
[2:29-30] How can you disbelieve in Allah? When you were without life, He gave you life, and then He will cause you to die, then restore you to life, and then to Him shall you be made to return. He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth…
[16:74] And they worship beside Allah such as have no power to bestow on them any gift from the heavens or the earth, nor can they ever have such power.
[17:69] Do you then feel secure that He [Allah] will not cause you to sink in the side of the land or send against you a violent sandstorm and then you will find no guardian for yourselves?
[17:70] Or, do you feel secure that He will not send you back therein a second time, and then send against you as a storm-blast, and drown you because of your disbelief?
You will then find therein no helper for yourselves against Us.
Finally,
[16:105] As for those who do not believe in the Signs of Allah, surely, Allah will not guide them, and they shall have a grievous punishment.
[16:120] Then surely, thy Lord — to those who do evil in ignorance and repent thereafter and make amends — aye, surely, after that thy Lord is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
[39:67] Aye, worship Allah and be thou among the grateful.

Qur’an records the thoughts of past idol-worshippers:
[71:24] And they say to one another, ‘Forsake not your gods under any circumstances.
[71:25] And [thereafter] they have led many astray; so increase Thou not the wrongdoers but in error.”
[71:26] Because of their sins they were drowned and made to enter Fire. And they found no helpers for themselves against Allah.

Allah questions the Idol Worshippers:
[43:22] Have We given them a Scripture before this, so that they are holding fast to it?
[43:23] Nay, they say, ‘We found our fathers following a certain course, and we are guided by their footsteps.’
[43:24] And thus has it always been that We never sent any Warner before thee to any township but the evil leaders thereof said: ‘We found our fathers following a certain course, and we are following in their footsteps.’
[43:31] But when the truth came to them they said, ‘This is magic, and we do reject it.’
[43:46] And ask those of Our Messengers whom We sent before thee, ‘Did We appoint any deities beside the Gracious God, to be worshipped?’
[34:32] And those who disbelieve say, ‘We will never believe in this Qur’an, nor in what is before it;’ and couldst thou see when the wrongdoers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back on one another the blame…
Few disbelievers also worship the Sun, whereas…
[35:14] He [Allah] merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And He has pressed into service the sun and the moon; each one runs its course to an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the kingdom, and those whom you call upon beside Allah own not even a whit.
[31:31] That is because it is Allah alone Who is the True God, and whatever they call upon beside Him is falsehood, and because it is Allah alone Who is the Most High, the Incomparably Great.

The challenge of the idolater and his consequences:
[46:23] They [the disbelievers] said, ‘Hast thou come to us to turn us away from our gods? Bring us then that with which thou dost threaten us, if indeed thou art of the truthful.’
[46:24] He [the messenger] said, ‘The knowledge thereof is only with Allah. And I convey to you what I have been sent with, but I see you to be a very ignorant people.’
[46:25] Then, when they saw the punishment coming towards their valleys as a cloud, they said, ‘This is a cloud which will give us rain.’ ‘Nay, but it is that which you sought to hasten — a wind wherein is a grievous punishment.
[46:26] ‘It will destroy everything by the command of its Lord.’
By morning there was nothing to be seen, except their dwellings. Thus do We requite the guilty people.
[46:27] And We had established them in what We have established you not; and We gave them ears and eyes and hearts. But their ears and their eyes and their hearts availed them naught since they denied the Signs of Allah; and that at which they used to mock encompassed them.
[46:28] And certainly We did destroy townships round about you; and We have explained our Signs in various ways, that they might turn to Us.
[46:29] Why, then, did not those help them whom they had taken for gods beside Allah that they might bring them near to Him? Nay, they were lost to them. That was the consequence of their lie, and of what they fabricated.

The Conclusion:
[17:95] And nothing has prevented men from believing when the guidance came to them save that they said, ‘Has Allah sent a man as a Messenger?’
[17:97] Say, ‘Sufficient is Allah for a Witness between me and you; surely, He knows and sees His servants full well.’
[17:98] And he whom Allah guides, is the only one rightly guided; but as for those whom He allows to perish, thou wilt find for them no helpers beside Him. And on the Day of Resurrection We shall gather them together on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf. Their abode will be Hell; every time it abates, We shall increase for them the flame.
[17:99] That is their recompense, because they rejected Our Signs…
[10:95] And if thou art in doubt concerning that which We have sent down to thee, ask those who have been reading the Book before thee. Indeed the truth has come to thee from thy Lord; be not, therefore, of those who doubt.
[10:96] And be not thou of those who reject the Signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of the losers.
[10:97] Surely, those against whom the word of thy Lord has taken effect will not believe,
[10:98] even if there come to them every Sign, till they see the grievous punishment.
[9:33] He [Allah] it is Who sent His Messenger [Mohammad (saw)] with guidance [The Holy Qur’an] and the religion of truth [Islam], that He may make it prevail over every other religion, even though the idolaters may dislike it.

I say (as says the Qur’an-e-Kareem):
[46:32] ‘O our people, respond to Allah’s Summoner and believe in Him. He will forgive you your sins, and protect you from a painful punishment.
[46:33] ‘And whoso does not respond to Allah’s Summoner, he cannot escape Him in the earth, nor can he have any protector beside Him. Such are in manifest error.’
[10:17] Say, ‘If Allah had so willed, I should not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you. I have indeed lived among you a whole lifetime before this. Will you not then understand?’
[48:14] And as for those who believe not in Allah and His Messenger — We have surely prepared for the disbelievers a blazing fire.
[72:21] Say, ‘I pray to my Lord only, and I associate no one with Him.’
[72:24] ‘My responsibility is only to convey what is revealed to me from Allah, and His Messages.’ And for those who disobey Allah and His Messenger there is the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide for a long, long period.
[52:8] The punishment of thy Lord shall certainly come to pass;
[52:9] There is none that can avert it.
[52:10] On the day when the heaven will be in a state of terrific commotion,
[52:11] And the mountains will move, with terrible moving,
[52:12] Then woe that day to those who reject the truth,
[52:13] Who sportingly indulge in idle talk.
[52:14] The day when they shall be thrust into the fire of Hell with a violent thrust.
[52:15] ‘This is the Fire which you treated as a lie.
[52:16] ‘Is this then magic, or do you still not see?
[52:17] ‘Burn ye therein; and whether you show patience or you show it not, it will be the same for you. You are requited only for what you used to do.’
[52:18] Verily, the righteous are in Gardens and in bliss,
[52:19] Enjoying what their Lord has bestowed on them; and their Lord has saved them from the torment of the Fire.

O ye who believe! Turn to Allah (the one God) in sincere repentance. It may be that your Lord will remove the evil consequences of your deeds and make you enter Gardens through which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet nor those who have believed with him. (Chapter 66, Verse 9)
[39:18]: And those who eschew the worship of false gods and turn to ALLAH – for them is glad tidings. So give good tidings to MY servants.
[39:19]: Who listen to the Word and follow the best thereof. It is they whom ALLAH has guided, and it is they who are really endowed with understanding.
‘I will inflict My punishment on whom I will; but my mercy encompasses all things’. (Ch.7: V.157)
And He is Merciful to the believers. (Ch.33: V.44)
Surely, those who have believed……. whoso believe in Allah (God) and the last Day, and does righteous deeds – on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Quran, Al’Maidah, Ch.5:V.70)
‘Proofs have indeed come to you from your Lord; so whoever sees, it is for his own good; and whoever becomes blind, it is to his own loss. And I am not a guardian over you.’ (Ch6:V105)
‘He (God) has no partner…’ (Ch6:V164)

Say, “I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is the Messenger of Allah.”

[36:6] This [Qur’an] is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful,
[36:7] that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so they are heedless.
And We have sent down to thee the Book to explain everything and a guidance and a mercy and glad tidings to those who submit to Allah. (The Holy Quran 16:90)
These are the Signs of Allah which We rehearse unto thee with truth. In what word, then, after rejecting the Word of Allah and His Signs, will they believe? (The Holy Quran, 45:7)
‘Surely conjecture avails naught (nothing) against truth.’ (10:37)
