In an interview with Reason magazine, this became clear when the interviewer asked if by “defeating Islam” Hirsi Ali meant, “defeating radical Islam?” She replied: “No. Islam, period.” When the reporter asked her to further elaborate what she meant by “defeat Islam” she replied: “I think that we are at war with Islam. And there is no middle ground in wars. Islam can be defeated in many ways… You look them in the eye and flex your muscles and you say, ‘This is a warning. We won’t accept this anymore.’ There comes a moment when you crush your enemy.”
The interviewer then asked, “Militarily?” Hirsi Ali replied: “In all forms.”
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali-born U.S. citizen who is known — among other things — for her radical views on Islam. Her supporters consider her a leading critic, while many others believe she is guilty of Islamophobia and bigotry. I think she is a perfect case to educate people on the difference between the two.
Hirsi Ali immigrated to the Netherlands in 1992, claiming to escape a forced marriage. There, she rose to become a member of the House of Representatives in 2003. However, she was forced to resign from the Dutch parliament when her biographical details were challenged and publicly exposed as a chain of fabrications. She admitted to the lies and decided to move to the U.S. Just recently, Hirsi Ali was in the news again when Brandeis University, which had earlier nominated Hirsi for a honorary degree, decided she was not a fit candidate for the honor. “We cannot overlook that certain of her past statements are inconsistent with Brandeis University’s core values,” the university said. It added, “For all concerned, we regret that we were not aware of Ms Hirsi Ali’s record of anti-Islam statements.”
There is certainly all freedom to hold a different opinion within Islam or about Islam. Intellectual criticism leads to dialogue, which in turn leads to better understanding. However, there is a difference between critiquing Islam and spreading irrational fear of Muslims. There is a difference between intellectually commenting on a religion and inciting hatred of its adherents.

God sent down His revelation in two conditions.
1. a TIME OF WAR
2. A TIME OF PEACE.

A TIME OF WAR, WE CAN FIND SOME VERSES;
Allah also sent some verses as warning or guidance for His messenger how to defend himself from enemy who wanted to kill Prophet Muhammad(saw).
These verses can not be applied any more, since Prophet Muhammad (saw) had died, and also there is no religious war in 21st century.. These verses in chapter 9 was a specific historical event. These verses can not apply in the present day, peaceful era.

NOW I show to you some verses sent down to prophet Muhammad(saw) A TIME OF PEACE.

While the verses that sent down time of peace, no conflicts, GOD commanded Prophet Muhammad (saw) to love each other, compassionate to one another, to be fair to all people and equality, tolerance, help each other in good deeds. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, tribe, original nationality, religion. and gender (women, man, straight, gay, and lesbian).
The Teaching about Justice for all People,
no discrimination
Old extremist interpretation treat Jews, Christian,Shia, atheist etc unfairly and hatred toward them.
Whereas Allah commanded Prophete Muhammad (saw) treat all people fairly and kindly
Modern interpretation; Muslim should treat all people fairly and kindly,there is no discrimination on the basis of race, gender and religion.

Justice for all people regardless his beliefs,race,and gender is the core of Islamic teaching. Without dealing justice for all, will create conflict and war.

Allah sent down to Prophet as follows below;

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. (QS. 4; 135

It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies: for Allah has power (over all things); and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity. QS 60;8.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) confirmed that Taurat, Zabur and Injil are the true books or holy book.
God and prophet never said one word that previous book have been altered by human.People had tried but they failed.

Example; If you publish your book and distribute your books to people as many as possible, no one can falsify your book any more. If there is any one want to falsify you book, it is easy to recognize the fake book by comparing with original that everyone already has your book.

There are some unknown meaning of verse, only God know it.
Extremist Muslim use this verses to accuse others is wrong. God already warned His people do not slander or discord others.

He is the One who has revealed to you the Book (the Qur’an). Out of it there are verses that are Muhkamat (of established meaning), which are the principal verses of the Book, and some others are Mutashabihat (whose definite meanings are unknown). Now those who have perversity in their hearts go after such part of it as is mutashabih, seeking (to create) discord, and searching for its interpretation (that meets their desires), while no one knows its interpretation except Allah; QS 3;7.

And before this there was the Book of Musa, a guide and a mercy. And this is a Book confirming (it) in Arabic tongue, so that it may warn the wrongdoers and give good news to those who are good in their deeds.

Herewith, I strongly encourage Muslim consider reading Bible as well as Christian read Al Quran.

You will get some benefits from it.

Muhammad (saw) came to the earth NOT to destroy Taurat and Injil, but to fulfill it. Taurat, Zabur, Injil and Al Quran are Islamic book from Allah.

alatif: There are no original texts left of the old testament nor of the new testament. And … is it in the book of Moses where the last sentence says ‘and no body found his grave until this day’? (signifying that the book was written a LONG TIME after his death by authors unknown.
alatif, my question was about the books written by men, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John and Paul (Saul of Tarsus). You have made a long reply. Do you believe that BibleNT is not written by men? It is clearly written by some men who are named too. It was written long after Jesus a.s. left for long journey to the east (Iran and Afghanistan). It was a simple question. You are suggesting to Muslims that they should not believe in the books written by men. I consider BibleNT as a book written by men. Jesus a.s. never dictated anything to those men (Mathew, Mark etc.) to write any words. So those are books of Bible, written by men.
There is no original revealed Bible to compare.
alatif, please do not wander into other fields. Just stop preaching to the Muslims about books written by men and if you do that, then please tell every one to keep away from Bible too because Bible is well below the level of Hadith in authenticity. Hadith is more reliable than Bible because Hadith is covered (protected) by the Quran. But there is no protection for the Bible written by some men 2000 years ago.
The best thing for you to do would be to leave Hadith and Bible alone and let them do their work and not to preach against the books of Hadith. With all my Love for your efforts, Wassalam, Peace and Love.
Alatif is presenting evidence from the Holy Quran. His view that the Torah and Injeel are books of God is based on the Holy Quran. Allah has referred to these books many times in the Holy Quran and always in glowing terms. So I expect the opposing view to present support from the Holy Quran.
As for the books of ahadith, there is no mention of these in the Holy Quran. Holy Prophet prohibited writing down his sayings. The Khulafa Rashideen discouraged people from writing or quoting ahadith. All extremist ideas in Islam have their root in ahadith. Hundreds and thousands of false ahadith are known to occur even in Bokhari and other books. Hadith should not be the basis of anything in Islam. God has given us the entire religion in the Quran. After all we call it a perfect book. Let us believe in our own claim.

Alif. Lam. Mim . 1 (1) Allah: There is no god but He, the Alive, the All-Sustaining. (2) He has revealed to you the Book with the truth, confirming what has been before it, and has sent down the Torah and the Injil (3) Earlier to give guidance to mankind, and has sent down the Furqan (the book of Zabur). Surely, those who have rejected the verses of Allah, for them there is severe punishment. Allah is Mighty, the Lord of Retribution.QS 3:1-4.

Those who believe Allah’s books, but do not practice it, Allah gave a warning as following;

But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught oft your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.” (14) Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and have never since doubted but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones. Lutf, your post is quite good, mostly true. Will you kindly put some light on another thing which is called “Sun ah”. You have described Quran and Hadith. I ask you about Sun ah, I.e. the practice of the holy prophet s.a.w.s.
