Daboase (W/R), March 29, GNA – Maulvi (Dr) Abdul Wahab Bin Adam, Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana, on Friday said the mission would continue to partner Government in development as a service to humanity.

He was speaking at the opening of a three-day international course for medical doctors and directors of Ahmadiyya health facilities in 10 countries at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Hospital at Daboase in the Wassa East District.

The countries are Ghana, United States of America, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Liberia.

The course was organised by the International Headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission and hosted by Ghana.

Maulvi Adam said the mission was looking at ways of enhancing its services in the health sector to meet the health needs of the people.

He said it was in that direction that the course had been organised to enable the participants to exchange ideas and share experiences to improve medical practice and delivery.

Maulvi Adam urged medical personnel of the mission to take inspiration from the Koran and be committed and dedicated to their work.

The course included sessions on Urology, Laparoscopic Surgery and Inguinal Hernia.
