Though America may be the “land of opportunity,” Switzerland will be the best place to be born in 2013 according to a quality-of-life index from the Economist Intelligence Unit.
The EIU, a sister company to The Economist magazine, determines quality of life based on surveys of the population covering 11 factors including wealth, crime, family life, trust in government and the stability of the economy.
Income estimates for babies born in 2013 are based on projections for the year 2030, when those children will come of age.
The top ten best places to be born in 2013:

From the list I would rather opt Norway for its solid economy based in Oil and gas resources and strong human rights realization. Though only Canada supersedes Norway in HR its economy has become quite unstable after the crisis and deep Chinese intervention in strategic important financial investments. Switzerland economy is the most fragile one when crisis will escalate in 2013, governments (Germany, UK, US etc.) will start legislating rules to intrigue black money deposits in Swiss banks, it will lose its volume effect. But perhaps a crisis of such level will also impact Norwegian economy to a great degree.
And on the negative side of the issue one is naturally inclined to know as to which country/ state could be at the lowest, worst level of human living? On this issue I put a question to a friend decades ago who had been to a number of countries, both in the west and the east and he named some Muslim countries with worst social conditions of life. And one friend told that there is one country with 95 percent Muslim population which has only 30 percent literacy rate. Due to this sort of ‘jahalat’ and ignorance, the mullah has become very powerful to exert its negative influence on very weak, unprincipled political leadership to help set a stage for the 72 sects of muslims to sit together and declared the 73rd sect of Ahmadia Muslim community, out of the fold of Islam. It is here in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that Gen. Zia issued an Ordinance under which if an Ahmadi citizen, poses as a muslim by reciting the holy ‘Kalema Tiyeba’, namely:-‘Lailaha Illallah, Muhammad ur Rasoolullah’, it was taken as an offence and a crime punishable by 3 years ‘RI'(Rigorous Imprisonment).Innalillah…. From this example of intolerance and a sort of extremeism,you can well imagine as to which Muslim country is morally,socially and religiously at the worst,lowest ebb. In view of all this sorry state of affairs,it is,therefore suggested/requested that all the members of Jama’at-e-Masih-e-muhammadi, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, through out the world, start the practice of regular recitation of the holy Darood Shareef as said in the following verse of Hadhrat Aqdus Masih-e-Maud:-
“Bhej darood us Mohsin par tu din
mein sau sau bar, Pak Muhammad
Mustafa sab Nabiyoon ke Sardar”

What really matters is to take board on Ark of Messiah that is to become a true and sincere Ahmadi Muslim (not even merely namesake Ahmadi Muslim).
I do not see any place of the world safe and peaceful with growing greediness, insecurity, extremism, intolerance, violence, racism and injustice unless people pay heed to voice of Allah.
No matter wherever you are born, you are completely unsafe and insecure if you are not on-board of Messiah ark and you are safe and sound wherever you are if by grace of Allah you have taken the boarding pass for Messiah ark.
