Reading can mould the personality and transform people, according to Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmad Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Centre.
Speaking at the sidelines of the ongoing Sharjah International Book Fair, Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmad Al Qasimi said there is much to gain by interacting with leading authors, listening to them, reading their books or even having a chance to interview them. “Everybody in any capacity ought to be part of this book fair. I am bringing to their attention the importance of books,” he said.
